Favorite Products of 2013

We made it. The last day of 2013.

Irene here from designstiles. I normally post on Wednesdays but I wanted to make sure I checked in with my top ten favorite items I’ve shared over this past year.

It’s been a great experience being a contributor here on Spearmint Baby and I hope you’ve enjoyed my posts as much as I’ve enjoyed writing them.

1. Felix crib sheet from Little Auggie – Adorable sheets with doggies and “woof woof” writing, with the same name as my son.

2. The Dog by Picasso wall art – I love dogs and the simplicity of this print.

3. Liberty crib by Serena and Lily – A beautiful crib with pretty little details. I would’ve gone with this one if I would’ve had a girl.

4. Asos Maternity Jeans – I purchased a pair when I was pregnant and not only were they comfortable, they made me feel hip despite my belly bump.

5. Belly Bandit – your close postpartum friend. This totally helped me feel like I was getting my pre-baby body back.

6. Rebecca Minkoff Knocked Up diaper bag – definitely one of the coolest most stylish diaper bags out there. Totally looks like a standard handbag.

7. Sam Edelman Petty Boot – can’t tell you enough how much I love these boots. Or how much I wore them in ’13. Just the right amount of height to be comfortable to walk in all day. I’ll still be sporting them in the new year.

8. Menagerie white giraffe bookend – an adorable addition to any nursery. Makes a cute gift as well.

9. Mercado baskets – I love a good basket and the strapping on these create a fun star pattern.

10. Furry stool from Furbish – I’ve used this one in a nursery before but I think it would make a statement in a bedroom or living room, bringing in great texture.

Hasta la New Year!

“My Favorite Baby Things”

Newborn baby products are always getting reinvented and I feel so out of touch with the newborn stage (my kids are 2 & 3 now). So, when Jennifer from J T & the Sea tweeted me yesterday about her favorite baby things I was intrigued. Jennifer gave birth in June to the cute little guy pictured above (Owen). Here she shares her faves: (more…)
