I LIVE for vacations. Travel is my FAVORITE “hobby!” Before we had children, my husband and I enjoyed destinations like Kauai, Iceland, Napa Valley, & camping trips through Yellowstone/Joshua Tree/Yosemite etc!

Our travel schedule has definitely slowed down now that we have 2 little ones! We are currently planning our 1st family vacation & I cannot wait. It is definitely a predictable family destination but I thought it would be a good place to start! (only a 3 hr flight & no need for rental car/carseats!)

How often do you travel now that you have kids? Do you stick to child friendly places like theme parks and beach boardwalks or have you been a bit more adventurous and packed up the entire family for a European vacation?

Either way, I would love to hear about your favorite family vacation. Where was your destination? Hotel/Motel/campsite/rental home? What children’s gear did you bring along? What did you learn from long drives/airplane rides with kids. How old were they at the time? Details that we would not think of are a bonus!
