HI! I’m Shari…a 36 year old mom of 3:

Harper 3.5 yrs
Rexford 2.5 yrs
Kaley 16 years.

I am a stay at home mom/blogger. Blogging used to be a hobby but somehow has taken over my life and become a business!

I’m obsessed with talking about “Mama & Baby Stuff” and I would probably have 10 babies if I had more time and money.

A few things I enjoy:
*online sales/thrift stores/pretty much any kind of good deal
*real estate/decorating/home improvement
*Netflix… my obsession has turned into a LOVE of foreign films!
* & the simple pleasure of reading a magazine near a sunny window. (while my son is napping of course!)

A few more random facts about me: I LOVE brussel sprouts and red beets. I think Botox is amazing. I’m extremely frugal and obsessive about cutting coupons…but completely the opposite when it comes to designer handbags. You’ll never find me with a french manicure, I prefer a little gold sparkle. After running out of bedrooms in our current home, I converted one of our master bedroom closets into my son’s nursery.  & I drink a glass of red wine pretty much every night after I put my kids to bed. (preferably with some stinky/earthy brie cheese!)

To answer the question I get asked the most…

Spearmint Baby was a name that I came up with in March of 2009. I wanted to start a baby blog that was “a breath of fresh air.” I looked up synonyms for the word fresh & every interesting adjective was already in use. Then, Godaddy.com suggested the name “spearmintbaby…” I liked spearmint as a flavor so decided it would work perfectly for my blog.

In the future I see Spearmint Baby as a place where moms & moms to be can interact. I would love for it to become an online gathering place- where you can ask questions, exchange ideas, and gather inspiration.

I look forward to getting to know you. I love comments and emails. I read every single comment -and respond as often as I have time.
