Kids Swimwear

Hi there, Irene from designstiles today.

We recently enrolled our son in swim lessons in which he goes to once a week. I thought one pair of swim trunks would suffice, but on weeks when his laundry doesn’t get done or simply to change things up a bit, I went out and purchased more swimwear for him. Plus it’s just fun dressing kids.

Seeing that summer will be here before we know it, below are some cute swim pieces for boys and girls.

Bang Pop Shop sent Harper this adorable & delicious Tooth Cake Pop to celebrate her milestone. They are located in Cali, but ship nationwide. Check them out on Instagram as well… they make pretty much any kind of cake pop and each design is like a work of art! @bangpopshop

Easter at The Sanctuary on Camelback Resort & Spa

Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa from Sanctuary on Vimeo.

Now that my taxes are finished, I’m finally catching up with some blogging. I wanted to share some photos of our beautiful Easter Sunday at the stunning Sanctuary on Camelback Resort & Spa.

We all woke up early Easter morning to put on our Sunday best. Harper & Rexy both wore new pieces from the Feather Drum SS ’15 Collection. The Sanctuary is only about 5 minutes from our house so we grabbed the kids’ Easter baskets & headed out for our short ride.

The grounds of the Sanctuary on Camelback Resort are absolutely gorgeous. The resort is built on the side of Camelback Mountain which makes for spectacular views! The Easter Egg hunt began around 9:15 & did not disappoint! There were hundreds of eggs hidden in every nook and cranny you can imagine. All of the children were very friendly. It was so nice to see such kind & well behaved kids. Some of the older children offered eggs to babies & toddlers. It was a great dynamic! There were 6 “golden eggs” hidden that morning. If you found one of them, you “cashed it in” for a large prize. Neither Rex nor Harper found one, but a few of the kids that did find them shared their big prizes. Harper and Rex were ecstatic! They came home with huge chocolate bunnies & egg-laying chicken toys. The funny Easter Bunny was also at the resort all morning to take photos and offer extra treats for the children.

After the hunt was over it was time for Easter Brunch. We had reservations at the award-winning restaurant, Elements…

With its cutting-edge kitchen, this critically acclaimed Scottsdale restaurant offers a diverse menu including vegetarian and gluten-free options…innovations like in-house smoked meats and a raw bar for iced shellfish and sashimi…plus the best local, organic produce, sustainable seafood, and hormone-free meats, making it a favorite restaurant in Scottsdale.

Food Network star, Executive Chef Beau MacMillan creates specialties that live up to the dramatic setting of elements, a top rated Scottsdale restaurant. Watching the colorful sunset on Camelback Mountain while dining at elements is one of the most enjoyable pleasures at Sanctuary. With a menu as inspiring as the stunning location, elements features farm-fresh American cuisine with Asian accents, providing an upscale Scottsdale fine-dining experience.

There was a special Easter Brunch Menu that morning that was just divine. I had the Baked Oysters Dynamite, Lobster Benedict, & Strawberry Shortcake. It was the most delicious brunch I had had in years. Maybe even ever!

If you live in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area, or are headed this way be sure to stop by Sanctuary on Camelback Resort & Spa for your special occasion. We’re hoping to catch one of their Sunday Happy Hours soon!
