Grey, Pink, & Teal Nursery

With a soothing shade of grey already on the walls, Jackie decided on adding soft pinks and teal when she found out she was expecting a little girl. It all comes together so beautifully! I love the wall decals on the accent wall, the teal chevron rug (sooo affordable), & crochet pouf. & the IKEA dresser looks so pretty dressed up with those pink glass knobs.

Crib: DaVinci Jenny Lind – it was out of stock everywhere when I looked and (strangely, enough) actually got it back in stock first!

Dresser: Ikea Hemnes – I wanted to buy an old one and paint it but luckily realized my limitations.

Dresser Knobs: Anthroplogie – though it looks like the exact ones are no longer available.

Curtains: Land of Nod – but no longer available

Rug: Urban Outfitters

Glider: Room & Board – little bit of a splurge but we figure we’ll use this in another room later!

Ottoman: CB2

Bookshelf: IKEA Expedit

Prints (above dresser): trafalgarssquare on Etsy

“Be Real” artwork: Target

Wall graphics: Blik Iron Vines

  1. We’re so excited you featured Claire’s nursery as so much of the inspiration came from Spearmint Baby! Our family really loves spending time in the room reading, playing, and even (for the little one) sleeping. 🙂

  2. I LOVE every part of this nursery! It is just beautiful and will grow with her just perfectly.

  3. The nursery is beautiful but that baby is the cutest!

  4. Beautiful and serene.

  5. Does anyone know where the pouf is from? Or where I can find one like it? Looking for one in a beige color…

  6. Hi Danielle!

    pouf is from CB2:

  7. Wow – these are amazing nursery colors. One wouldn’t necessarily think to include grey, of all colors, in a nursery theme, but it has quite a calming effect! It successfully brings all the other colors together into a wonderful collection of hues for your new baby! A great item for this nursery would be the Weegoamigo Dino Herd Blanket. The dark grey background and teal dinosaur print are perfect for this color scheme – and any dino-loving child!

  8. Hi – Does anyone know where she got her bedding from?

  9. Hi Nicole!

The crib skirt was from a Pottery Barn Kids outlet here in the western suburbs of Chicago. They don’t have the same one online but there are some cute ones!

The sheet was from Buy Buy Baby –

    Hope that helps!

  10. Hi Jackie: Where did you get the photo frames for your prints? I’ve been looking for pink frames but haven’t had much luck! Thanks for the tips! Love your nursery, it is adorable.

  11. Thanks Nicole!

They’re just cheap laminate frames (from Michael’s, I think) that we spray painted pink! I may have seen some more decorative pink frames at Home Goods recently too if you want to check there!

  12. Thanks for the tips Jackie! We ended up doing the same thing, just spray painted the frames pink. We ordered prints from trafalgarssquare also, they are so much cuter in person even then online!

  13. Do you fnd yourself tripping over the rug? Is the teal rug in a carpeted room? I am looking to do the same thing but want to be sure the teal rug doesn’t get in the way too much?

  15. Hi Kristy!

The rug was on carpet and it didn’t slip. We moved recently though and it’s now on hardwood. I had to buy a rug pad to go underneath it on these floors. Hope that helps!

  16. Thanks! What size is the one you got? Was it really “smelly” as the reviews on Urban’s website indicate?

  17. Is the rug color mint or blue from Urban Outfitters? Thanks!

  18. Ours is 5×7 in blue. I honestly don’t recall if there was a smell…maybe just leave some time to air it out in case!

  19. Can you tell me the name of the grey paint. All the colours came together nicely

  20. Love the large floor lamp behind the chair! Where is it from?

  21. Thanks Liz! It was from Target. I don’t think this is the exact same one but looks pretty close!

  22. Hello, do you have any idea what color the paint is on the walls? I love the softness of the grey.
    Thank you!

  23. I’m not 100% sure, Maureen, but try Roadrunner from Behr. We’re not there anymore (and sadly, have not gotten around to painting in the last year and a half in our new home!!) but that’s my best guess based on my samples. Which, speaking of, I highly recommend trying a few out on your walls to see what happens in the light. I found the undertones in the grays could really come out so you’ll really want to make sure it works in your space!
