Soft Pink Nursery

Lindsay sent in this beautiful nursery that she decorated for her friend…seriously what a good friend!
She wanted a very feminine look and decided on a color palette that included soft pinks, subtle blues, & gold. The walls were painted Benjamin Moore’s Pink Orchid. The crib was given a makeover in Benjamin Moore’s Palladian Blue (see the before & afters of the painted crib HERE). & my absolute favorite thing in the nursery is the GOLD polka dot rug which Lindsay DIY’d herself!
She used a plain IKEA Erslev rug, Martha Stewart’s Gold Glitter Dust Paint, and a circle stencil from Hobby Lobby. The rug turned out stunning! I think this is such a fantastic idea.
Lindsay added a few more gold accessories to the room with a can of Rustoleum’s Gold spray paint. YES, she used it on that gorgeous lamp in the corner. It looks soooo expensive! She also used gold spray paint on the beautiful bird hook.
Lindsay has a great tip on dressing up an old dresser…find some pretty glass knobs for a completely new look. She used pretty PINK ones that she purchased on sale at Hobby Lobby.
The 3 framed pictures she hung on the wall are actually her friend’s favorite pages from her Eloise books. CLEVER! The pink & white polka dot crib sheet and grey knit pouf are from Target.

Hooray! Thanks so much for the feature. I really love how it turned out… Both for the look and the cheap price! Thanks again!

I am in loooove! The palette is gorgeous and any room that has Eloise and gold in it has me sold.
I’ve been meaning to do that rug DIY and this is the clincher.
