Pony Birthday Party

Alison went with a teal, blue, silver, black & white color scheme for her daughter, Gigi’s, Pony Birthday Party. I am pretty blown away by her concept and how she executed it. Not an easy task!
The star of the party (other than the birthday girl of course) was the gorgeous silver pony. I love that the pony had her own party hat and dressed up for the occasion with a pretty pink mane (all natural, of course!) The children were giddy with anticipation when they heard that there was going to be a real pony at the party!
Alison is a lover of crafts, baking, & DIY-ing so most of the items you see in the photos were made by her! I just love her creativity. Instead of a simple place card for each child, she made place-card cookies. Each cookie had the child’s name and a miniature pony cookie on them.
She used horse cookie cutters to make horse cookie pops, pony-shaped gumdrops, and to cut PB&J sandwiches into horse head shapes. She also added horseshoe confetti to the tops of the cupcakes, and plastic horses to the top of the cake.
Since “Pony donut holes” are so inexpensive to purchase at the bakery, Alison decided not to make these on her own.
For party supplies, Alison recommends Oriental Trading Company and Bake it Pretty.
