Peach, Pink & Grey Shared Nursery/Sister Bedroom

I was so excited to hear back from Shay Cochrane this morning…one of my favorite photographers! She is currently on her way out of the country on assignment. hmmmm…perhaps she is photographing a wedding in an exotic locale?

Anyway, she agreed to share her daughters’ lovely room. Chloe and Vera share this bedroom and I just love the grey, peach and pink palette she chose for them!

A few of the details…
* The chandelier you see over the dresser/changing table was a DIY project made with pink and peach paint swatches Home Depot and Walmart. Isn’t it beautiful…& clever?
* The walls are painted in Behr Silver Drop.
* The lanterns used to be a raspberry pink color. Shay painted them a softer, ballet slipper pink.
* Shay and her friend made the custom canvas art in a shade/design to go perfectly in the nursery!
* Almost all of the furniture is from Ikea with the exception of her daughter’s toddler bed which was from Craigslist.
* The 2 shiny pink birdies were from Target’s Valentine’s day collection.
* The hand made polka-dot garland was a decoration from her baby shower.
* Shay decided on a mesh “princess” drape for over her older daughter’s bed. I love the subtle “drama” it adds to the corner of the bedroom!
* & finally, if you are looking for the same color crib sheet: Peach fitted crib sheet

  1. Where did you get the Ikea Drona light pink storage boxes? They don’t have them at our local Ikea.
