Birthday Slippers

These slippers were going to be in Harper’s stocking on Christmas morning, but I decided to give them to her this morning for her birthday. Does anyone else have a holiday baby? How do you decide what to give for Christmas/Hanukkah vs. Birthday?
Slippers from Target, $7.99

My twin girls will turn 2 on the 28th. It is definitely a challenge to have a birthday so close to Christmas. This year, we embraced it and planned a Christmas birthday party that we had earlier this month.

I am 38 weeks pregnant and we hope that our baby doesn’t come on christmas day. We are eager to meet him or her but I would prefer it if he had a birthday after december 29th.

We also have Hanukkah, my daughter’s birthday (23rd) and xmas. We do my daughter’s birthday party in early December so it’s definitely a full month! I actually feel like I’m on the home stretch:) PS slippers are also our santa gift list!

I think Harper and my son share the same birthday! My son was born December 20th last year, so we just celebrated his first birthday. I do worry some about the possibility of his birthday being shunted to the side during future years, so my husband and I will make every effort to distinguish between his birthday (party, presents, etc) and Christmas.
