photo of the day

This is my darling girl Amelia Rose. She was born at 32 weeks weighing just over 3lbs. She is now almost 9 months and a vibrant chubby princess. Please post a before and after to let parents in the NICU know that their babies are resilient, they will grow like crazy and eventually start eating their cribs lol.
Ps hope your husband is making a speedy recovery! Kristina

Was it really that much trouble to post this woman’s after photo? I mean really? She’s trying to send a wonderful message.
This is just plain weird.

What a blessing, she’s absolutely beautiful. Congratulations!!

What a beautiful and encouraging photo. I needed to see this today. My daughter was born at 36 weeks (along with her twin brother) and is currently spending some time in the NICU. We’ve had her brother home for just over a week and I’m hopeful that she’ll be able to come home with us soon.
Thanks for posting

as a former NICU mom to a 33 week preemie (who just turned 2 this past month!), this particular photo-of-the-day just spoke to me. i cannot tell you how much seeing before and after photos of friends’ and acquaintances’ NICU babies helped to comfort me and my husband during that stressful time two years ago. bravo spearmintbaby!

Thanks for posting these pictures! As the mother of a NICU baby who just came home this week after 18 weeks, it is always comforting to know that you are not alone and that even when life throws you a curve ball that things have a way of healing with time
