31 Week Baby Belly

Hi!

I wanted to submit my bump photos of me at 31 weeks (I’m now 33 and am due March 28th).

This is our first baby, we’re having a girl and we’re so excited! Pregnancy has been an adventure complete with morning sickness which has continued into the third trimester and gestational diabetes, but it will all be worth it in the end and my husband, Darryl, couldn’t have been more supportive. He’s taken really good care of me through it all. I’ve been craving lots of spicy foods, especially, Tex-Mex and hot wings. I never had a sweet tooth but have had a huge one until I was diagnosed with GD.

We took these photos on South Congress Avenue in Austin, Texas, in some of the same locations where we shot our engagement photos 3 years ago because we thought it was an appropriate location to continue our family’s story. The “I love you so much” graffiti wall on the side of Jo’s Coffee Shop is an Austin landmark, the story goes that the owner’s girlfriend wrote it up there after she thought she was having a bad day. We chose to be photographed in front of it because it echoes our feelings about each other and our little one on the way. I plan to include this photo love letter to our baby in our nursery.
