Eclectic Butterfly Nursery

Maria sent in her baby boy’s nursery back in May! It has taken me waaay toooo long to share this sweet nursery. Maria’s inspiration for the room came from the beautiful mother & child painting- can you believe that it is from IKEA!?

Her challenge was making this small room into both a nursery & a guest room. I love the use of whimsical butterflies that stimulate baby, and are equally pretty as adult decor. My 2 favorite things in the room are the burlap/ribbon roman shade that she HAND MADE! (tutorial HERE) & I also love the beautiful rocking chair she paid $45 for at a local antique shop.
