Grey Budget Nursery

This nursery was decorated on a strict budget.   By repurposing pieces from around the house, Lish ended up spending only $230 to complete it! Most of this was spent on new curtains, paint, hardware and DIY projects.

The colorful quilt from Dandelion Baby was the inspiration for the entire room. The curtains were ready made panels that she found at IKEA for $29.99. The bedding was from her other son, Gray’s, nursery- which she had originally made herself. The adorable Mobile was an inexpensive DIY Project- it turned out so cute!

Lish’s favorite part of the room (as is mine) is the dresser. It was her dresser when she was a teenager and she gave it a vibrant blue coat of paint. It turned out fantastic! See the before (and A LOT more details of Westyn’s budget nursery) at imprintalish.blogspot.com

  1. Love that quilt. Great post :D

  2. Great nursery! I’m curious what the wall art in the first photograph says…..I can’t make it all out.

  3. Looks great Shari, thanks!!!!
The piece on the door says “Ten little fingers from the very start, reach out for tomorrow and always hold your heart.”

  4. Awesome job Lish. Penny pinching shows you can still have beautiful rooms.
