a shared bedroom

ok vintage lovers…are you drooling over this gorgeous bedroom? Rachel from Smile & Wave decorated it for her son, Sebastian, and daughter, Ruby. she has filled it with all kinds of beautiful thrifted, hand-picked treasures.

Rachel used her vintage globe collection for color inspiration. she used pinks, yellows, greens, and aqua for Ruby’s side of the bedroom and yellows, greens, browns, and aqua for Sebastian’s side.

when i first saw this room, i was immediately drawn to the wall with the vintage chalkboard collection. the garland hung above the chalkboards is so cute, and i love that she place her pink Modernica rocker along that wall as well.

a few more of my favorites include the beautiful rainbow painting above Ruby’s crib (Rachel painted it herself), the huge, white wardrobe/closet that was a DIY project, and Sebastian’s vintage headboard (that Rachel found for $7!!)
