At the gym

Just downloaded the BlogPress iPhone app. I am at the gym on the reclining bicycle. Hoping to do 45 min of cardio while babes are in the bbsitting room. Ours charges $4/hr per child. What does your’s charge?

My Forehead Pre-Botox

now that i have finished breastfeeding Rexford i’ve begun working on my myself! skincare and a healthier diet/exercise program are priorities 1 & 2. as promised on my Facebook page yesterday, here is my wrinky forehead before going to my botox appt this morning. i took these pics with my iPhone, so not the best quality but you can definitely see the wrinkles i hope to zap. i will post some AFTER photos as soon as the botox kicks in (around 3-5 days).

a few other things i picked up for my new skincare routine:
an AHA Cleanser to remove the dead cells (that make my face feel rough) on the surface of my skin.

Glycolic Cream and Retin-A….retin-A is an inflammatory acid that irritates skin and can cause redness/scaliness. glycolic acids act as an anti-inflammatory. after the thin top layer of my skin is removed it is replaced with a much thicker/plumper layer of healthy cells. in the deeper layers of skin collagen is restored and hopefully many fine wrinkles will be eliminated as my skin is rejuvenated.

have you had botox? would you or are you completely against it? have you done any other skin treatments?….(chemical peels, microderm, photofacials, etc?) what skin care products do you use? i would love to hear about your routine if you have one.

typewriter

one good thing about being sick last week is that i was home all day and finally won an Ebay auction!

this is the new Sterling Manual Smith-Corona typewriter that i won. i am soooo excited for it to arrive. it is supposed to be in excellent working condition and i cannot wait to try it out. i’ve been wanting an old typewriter for a long time. i have awful handwriting and i’d like to type some little notes to the kids & tape them into their baby books.

i cannot remember the last time i used a manual typewriter, can you?
