food poisoning

i found out late last night that my mom and sister were ill with the same symptoms i have. we ate the same dinner on tuesday night which indicates that we got a bad case of food poisoning.
i am feeling a lot better as of noon today, but still really weak and not able to eat. my daughter had more diarrhea this morning but seems cheerful.

my drs. say i have nothing to worry about being pregnant and my body is doing a good job getting rid of the illness. i am supposed to stay in bed with my feet up and keep hydrating myself until at least tomorrow.

thanks for the well wishes, i am going to try and nap now!

so so sick!

i cannot keep anything down and my daughter’s diapers are a disaster. we must have the flu, praying that tomorrow brings relief!

Green and Pink Baby Nursery

Becky’s baby girl is due next week and she shared these photos of the adorable nursery!

“…I loved decorating this room from scratch for our first baby: Liberty. We painted the room before we knew we were having a baby girl. I knew I wanted a library reading nook and was so happy to find the picture ledge shelves that worked perfectly for displaying children’s literature. Everyone that attended the baby shower brought a book in lieu of a card. The glider was given to us by a friend. It was originally oak wood color and had a dark green fabric, and looked like every other outdated glider. We primed it and my husband spray painted it (highly recommend spray paint and a non-pregnant painter). $50 in fabric and a friend with a sewing machine transformed it! The buttons and trim help to finish it off. (not pictured, arm rest pads that snap on). The framed pictures are of our maternity photo shoot. The little white dress I bought on our honeymoon 5 years ago. Can’t believe it is on display in our firstborn daughters room now!”
