new blanket for new baby!

well, my mom just finished crocheting this beautiful blanket for the baby! i love how it turned out. the colors are perfect and i cannot wait to wrap him up in it! thanks MOM!

potty training

today i am taking my daughter over to BRU to buy a toilet. (any recommendations?)

yes, it is waaayyy early for potty training (she is only 15 months)….but in the past 2 weeks she has been unusually interested in our toilets (opening, shutting, and flushing them). so, i figure it is time to get her one of her own.

if you have any potty training tips i would love to hear about them!

35 wk update…

i had a drs. appt yesterday and because of my food poisoning/virus last week i did not gain anymore weight this past week. so i am still up 33.5 lbs.
my belly fundal height is measuring a week behind. the dr. is not worried because it has consistently been about a week behind and is still growing from week to week. (i can tell this is true from my belly photos- my belly is smaller than when i was pregnant with HQ). i am not sure if this baby is smaller or just positioned in a more compact way.
i do not have to do kick counts since i told the dr. that this baby is much more active than HQ was. i just have to let him know if the baby slows down significantly.
my next appt is on april 13th and most likely he will request another ultrasound at that point.

34 week belly picture

here i am at 34 weeks 1 day pregnant = black sweat pants taken this morning. i have not been able to eat much for the past 3 days because of my food poisoning. i am just starting to get my appetite back!
