nyc apartment shopping!

my family has been up in NYC for the past few days. we are looking for a small apartment to use during the week and i think we have found something great the first day we spent the entire day looking and it was the hottest day of the summer. the 2nd day we had torrential downpours all afternoon. my daughter LOVED the rain and had so much fun getting soaked!

“…I used clear jewelery making string, beads and wood lady bug cut outs. I just painted the lady bugs tied them on the end of the string or used large beads and tied them on the end and then added beads to all the stings. I used two different size embrodiery rings (only using the inside ring – not the tension ring) and covered them with ribbon. Once I had all the my strings together I tied them to either the small ring or the large ring and then once that was done tied that all together.
I hope that makes sense!!! I got all the stuff I needed at Micheals and Jo Ann Fabrics.”
